Hello!

I'm Karen Walls, the owner and sole photographer of Images by Karen Lynn. Having a passion for photography most of my life, I began by helping friends capture their teenager's senior year in high school. This only fueled my passion for photography more and Images by Karen Lynn was established.

I realize that not everyone loves being in front of the camera, however they still want to preserve those special moments of their lives. The only way to do this is to get in front of the camera. Having been on both sides of the camera, I strive to make my clients as comfortable as possible and often they forget the camera is even there! I love genuine smiles and capturing real personalities. I believe in keeping it simple, and capture each special moment whether it be trendy, casual, or a candid slice of life look.

My passion is photographing High School Seniors, but my heart also enjoys photographing children and families especially when their pets are involved. I am the behind the scenes and field photographer for the Golden Regiment High School Marching Band of Blue Springs, Missouri.

I continue fine tuning my photography skills by attending seminars, classes at the Kansas City Art Institute, and mentoring under some of the most reputable photographers in the country.

I have participated in several 52 week photo challenges with over 700 other photographers where several of my images made it to the favorite images of the week. I have competed and, won first place in The Images of Independence Photo Contest.
